ImageAs a CLP participant, you will also be afforded exclusive opportunities to attend special events around the city of Prague. A tour of Prague with experienced guides will take students around the main historical and architectural attractions of the city. This three hour walking tour offers the first exposure to the city and provides an insight on what Prague has to offer.

ImageA concert at the famous Rudolfinum Hall will host students for an evening of classical music. This neo-renaissance seat of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra is situated in the center of Prague. The facade is an analogy of the fire that destroyed Semper Opera in Dresden (1838-41). The building was finished in the year 1881 and the sculptures in the attic gable were installed in 1884. The concert hall has excellent acoustics, appropriate for oratorios and symphonic and chamber music, and an exceptionally high-quality organ.

ImageStudents will have time to socialize and interact with one another. Participants should look forward to special dinners and celebrations. Special events include a traditional Czech pub dinner, a boat tour on Vltava River, “Happy Hour,” and a farewell dinner. These social events will enable students to start new friendships and enjoy their week in Prague.
